About this work

Five glasses with depictions of professions in a wooden setting. The depicted profession is also mentioned on the glass. Far left: 'plate printer', turning a plate press with hands and feet. To the right: 'plate cutter', at a table by the window with several prints on the wall. In the middle: 'glass maker', holding a pane, with a large window lying flat on a table in front of him. To the right: 'paste is sweet', a pie baker putting a pie in the oven. Far right: 'mason', with trowel and brick in hand, bent over a low wall.
