Bed warmer with coat of arms between two lions

The object consists of seven parts: the iron handle with the ring, to which the copper pot is riveted, the copper hinge, the copper lid, and the three cast copper decorative elements on the handle. In the domed lid, of which the center point is visible, decorations are punched, stamped, and engraved using stamping molds, and holes in the shape of a circle and an eight-pointed star built from half-arches are made. In the center, a blank coat of arms held by two lions with a crown above it. In the fields between the half-circles, punched stars and pointed ovals are included in patterns built from granulated lines. Along the rim, on a hatched background, in capital letters the inscription ALS LEWEN WYLLEN WY ONS WEREN GODT MET ONS WY KAN ONS DEREN. The rim of the lid is reinforced with iron wire. The hinge, the parts of which are held together by an iron pin, has a stamped decoration.
