About this work

The object consists of four parts: the iron handle with a ring, to which the copper pot is riveted, the copper hinge, and the copper lid. In the domed lid, which has the center point in the middle, a depiction and decorations are punched and engraved using a stamping mold, and two rows of holes in concentric circles are made. In the center, Adam and Eve in Paradise (Genesis 3, 1-8), surrounded by a leaf scroll and a stylized rim. The rim of the lid is reinforced with iron wire. The wooden handle at the end of the handle is missing.
