About this work
Cast-iron stove tile. The representation is divided into two zones. The top shows on the left in a garden a fountain with Bathsheba and a female servant. To the right the representation is closed with a palace, where King David casts a glance from the window. The lower zone shows in the midst of scrollwork a medallion with a male bust and profile. Between the two zones a border with inscription.
