About this work
A ladder of old age: a double staircase. On the steps of the ladder, in the form of a bridge, stand men and women aged from 0 to 100 years. Under the bridge a representation of the Last Judgment. On either side of the representation a curtain. Above the image a verse in three columns, below the image a verse in four columns. Numbered top right: No. 4.
