Outbreak of fire in a house on the Leidsegracht, at the corner with the Herengracht, in Amsterdam. During a very severe frost on 12 January 1684. Water is scooped from holes in the frozen canal for the hose fire engines. On the right spectators on the ice. With three-line caption in Dutch and French. At the top the text: 16th Figure Page: 34.
