About this work
Fire in a sugar refinery on the Lauriergracht in Amsterdam on 29 December 1669. The fire is fought with old fire engines and water from the canal. Nevertheless, the building burned down completely. On the right household goods are taken from an adjacent building. At the top the text: 5th Figure Page: 12. Subject categories within the Atlas Zeden en Gewoonten: Government, Fire Brigade.
