About this work
Fighting a fire in a sugar refinery on the Lauriergracht in Amsterdam with old fire engines and water from the canal, 29 December 1669. Nevertheless, the building was completely destroyed. On the right, household goods are being removed from an adjacent building. In the top left, an open space left for an inscription.
