About this work

Skirt of green (or black) cloth with a collar with yellow piping. On the front, yellow silk loops, yellow-piped green shoulder coverings, fastened with hooks on the shoulders. On the shoulders, yellow metal buttons with horns, packed in paper like almost all buttons. Flap with a double row of sixteen such buttons. At the front closure, a red label and a label with the text: Skirt sergeant of the jagers, M. 1829. Netherlands. Tight-fitting sleeves with yellow-piped gold braid chevrons. Two such buttons on each sleeve. On the back, the panels are yellow-piped with ten such buttons. Lining of quilted cloth. Red leather band with hooks around the waist. The skirt has ventilation holes.
