Coat of dark blue wool. Collar of black velvet with embroidered oak leaves and snakes in silver wire. Closure front of double row of fourteen white metal buttons, on each button a snake that winds around a mirror with handle surrounded by a wreath with acorn leaves. Aesculapius and acorn. On buttons front label with label: Short coat officer of health, ca. 1850. Netherlands. On the back a split with six same buttons on flap pockets. In the left side a slit in the coat panel, for passing the sword hilt. Bottom of coat not hemmed, thus torn wool (rare). Interior quilted lining and inner pocket. Red leather belt with metal buckle, to which red label.
