Rectangular tobacco box with rounded corners of red and yellow copper, with images and inscriptions on the lid and base. Lid: relief with allegorical representations of the four continents, sailing ships, a smoking group, and seven coats of arms (of the United Provinces); inscription: (see inventory form). Base: relief with a garden balustrade featuring a statue of Mercury and merchants at a bale of goods, with inscription. Box further made of yellow copper. Signed; top center: GIESE f.
