About this work
On board the ship, a man is keelhauled, August 21, 1595. On land at Nova Zembla, at the top figures with sleds and at the bottom religious images of the Samoyeds on a piece of land called "Idol Corner". Opposite page 25 in: 'Warhafftige Relation. Der dreyen newen unerhörten seltzamen Schiffart so die Holländischen und Seeländischen Schiff....Anno 1594, 1595 und 1596 verricht' (1598).
