About this work
A Eurasian woman lies sleeping on a wide wooden bed bench (enda) covered with rope or rattan. She lies on her right side, her lower body and legs covered with a patterned cloth. She rests her head on a long pillow. She wears a wide Portuguese blouse with V-neck and long sleeves (hatte). The bed seems to be set up outside; a window is visible in the background. Page 111 from a sketchbook with 117 pages.
