About this work

Photo album in a cover of blue cardboard with a leather print. The album contains 18 album leaves of brown cardboard with a total of 49 black-and-white photos. Photos from two different vacations. 1) Vacation through the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg from July 26 to August 3, 1952, three young men on bicycles: Brussels, Leuven, Namur, Dinant, Payerne Custinne, Rochefort, Diekirch, Bastogne, Marche, Urspelt, Marburg, Hoscheid Dickt, Clervaux, Vielsalm, Trois-Ponts, Liège, Hasselt and Valkenswaard. 2) Car tour through Belgium and Luxembourg from Saturday, August 8 to Saturday, August 10, 1953: Antwerp, Mons, Gooreind, Fosses, Dinant, Rochefort, Payerne Custine, Wellin, Givet, Godinne, Bouillon, Orval, Arlon, Bastogne, Vianden, Luxembourg, Heinerscheid, Aywaille, a partisan grave, Spa, Leuven, Tongeren and Hasselt. Typed captions pasted under the photos on strips of paper.
