Flintlock pistol

Part of a pair. The lock plate is engraved with a shooting scene and a man with a banner (the images on the two pistols differ slightly from each other), and a signature. The barrel has a ring at the rear and a second as a transition to the round part; engraved at the rear with some foliage and a mask; wing-shaped rear sight, iron front sight bead. The stock is relief-carved on both sides at the ramrod opening with an eagle attacking a snake-like monster and behind the barrel with foliage and a war trophy; the butt cap has a contour of silver wire. The furniture of cast and chased silver consists of two faceted ramrod pipes, a trigger guard decorated with bands and an end in the shape of a leaf, an S-shaped screw plate with leaves along the edges and scrollwork with leaves, a blank thumb plate framed by foliage, and a butt cap with a mask chased in the midst of leafy vines; the burl walnut ramrod is fitted with a silver cap.
