Flintlock pistol

Part of a pair. The lockplate is engraved with, among other things, a laurelled head of a young man in an oval and the maker's signature. The transition between the rear part of the barrel, the cock, and the rest is marked by rings; on the cock are two thickening and a deep sight groove along the entire length; the front sight bead is of yellow copper; stamped to the left of the rear sight with the coat of arms of Utrecht and at the bottom with a crowned heart, not with the coat of arms of Utrecht as on 155-B. The stock is carved with, among other things, foliage.
