About this work

Part of a pair. The lock is unadorned except for a signature; the inner side of the lock plate is marked IN under a heart. The barrel has two bands with rings and is engraved here and there with leafy work; rear sight in an acanthus leaf in relief on the tail of the barrel, a silver mask in relief as front sight; stamped at the bottom with the coat of arms of Amsterdam, the crowned heart of 167-A is missing. The stock is simply carved with, among other things, leafy work.
