Flintlock pistol

Part of a pair. The lock plate bears an inscription with the name of the maker and is marked on the inside with the letters ND. The barrel is of damascened steel and has a silver bead; an unclear sign is stamped on the underside; the tail of the barrel is engraved with foliage. The stock has simple carving. The furniture shows traces of former gilding and has a chased and chased decoration, except for the ramrod pipe, and consists of: the trigger guard with the letters BF in a rococo medallion on the trigger guard stock, a screw plate with rococo scrollwork and flowers, and a butt cap with shells chased in and a war trophy on the central butt plate; the ramrod is fitted with a cowhorn cap.
