About this work
Chinese compass consisting of a bowl, painted white on the inside and covered with glass, containing a dry compass needle. Chinese compasses are divided into 24 wind directions. The wind directions are represented in white characters, north and south in red, east and west in yellow. North-south is also represented by a metal wire.
