About this work
A soldier, full-length, seen from the back, holding a musket (a specific type of firearm) with his left hand at his left thigh, the barrel angled upwards. With his right hand, he grasps a powder horn at his side. This print is part of the series of 42 hand-numbered prints of musketeers in the Wapenhandelinghe. On this copy, the number is printed.
