Model of a Gaff-Rigged Gunboat

Model of a single-masted flat-bottomed gunboat with round timbers; deck parts can be removed to show the interior firing. Round bow and stern, a port in the bow, two in the stern and two on the sides aft; a cannon on a swivel carriage in the bow, two carronades aft, four swivel guns. The deck is detailed with a capstan, a chimney for the galley, hatches, a cabin, a compass house, gear for the guns, a swab and bucket, four oars, cannonballs and two anchors. A bulwark on the sides and four poles on either side for a higher bulwark. Full interior firing below decks and a brass galley. Broad rudder with a wooden tiller over the deck. Nearly flat sheer, a barkwood, leeboards. The model has the round timber for a single-masted gaff-rigged vessel with sails: mast with topmast, gaff and boom, removable bowsprit; the yards are missing. Scale 1:30 (derived).
