About this work

Model of a half stern of a screw steamer. Model of a half stern (port side) with screw tunnel, on a baseboard. Elliptical stern; three decks indicated. Soetermeer's cross-bracing; the hull is omitted. The screw tunnel, between the sternpost and rudderpost, serves for lifting the screw frame with screw, which are not attached to the model. Scale 1:20 (scale on model).
