About this work
Model of a percussion lock for a cannon on a lock plate. The hammer can rotate 180° and strike with both sides: the head is egg-shaped with flattened ends, in which a groove is cut out to allow the flame coming from the touchhole during firing to pass through, so that the hammer is not knocked back. On the lock plate, a disc for the trigger cord is attached.
