About this work

Polychromed frame model of the hull, painted black and white with copper paint below the waterline, with loose round timbers. Eighty-two gunports distributed over three decks; five levels: poop deck, lower deck, middle deck, quarterdeck and half-deck with a covered well with walkways and gratings, upper cabin with poop. The figurehead has no stem figure. Twisted stern, flat wulf with two ports, stern of two stories with carving of armorial trophies and oval coat of arms with anchor; side galleries of two stories with carving of pilasters and diamond motifs. Rudder with round rudder head (Soetermeers version), steering wheel on the half-deck forward of the mizzenmast. The model is equipped with a double anchor bitt and two double windlasses. The sheer is almost flat, two barkwood and one beechwood; peaked round frame.
