About this work
Model of a fore-course sail with eighteen cloth panels above and twenty-six below, with cross-bands and four reefs, three pop-strops and bowline sprouts. It has a tack block and two sheet blocks; the tack consists of a brass ring connecting the ends of the halyards, each provided with an eye and a grommet, which holds the blocks; the port tack has three eyes (Amsterdam tack). Scale 1:10 (scale on model).
