About this work

Polychromed stacked model and half-model (starboard side) of a ram-turret ship. It has a rounded ram bow, decorated with leaf motifs at the top, a cruiser stern with lights and carving of vines, a rudder with rounded rudder blade, and one of a pair of three-bladed propellers with adjustable pitch. On the deck stands a single gun turret with a large round hatch and two round director turrets; behind the turret the bridge with gangway with grates athwartships, a funnel, two covered gangways on the quarterdeck, and scattered over the deck various boxes. A mast on the forecastle and a very short bowsprit. The sheer is completely flat, the hull form is round frame, and the model has a bilge keel. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
