From the collection of Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Free to download, adapt and use — no permission needed.
Round mast with octagonal top, yardarms and platform. The mast itself consists of an octagonal masthead surrounded by eight sides; the sides end below the ears. The parts are held together by hoops. A number of short planks around the mast form a flat platform at the front, the topgallant yard pieces and ears on the sides, and a half-octagon at the rear. The topgallant yardarms are secured to the ears with a brass swallowtail, clamps on the topgallant yard pieces support the topgallant yardarms and the shrouds. Three topgallant yardarms lie on the topgallant yardarms. This mast is made according to the 'Dutch method' (see NG-MC-127). This model can be disassembled.
