About this work
Model of a section of a ship's side with a boat on two iron davits. The model demonstrates the boat fall in the bottom of the boat, where two hooks are released from the davit tackle by means of a lever in the cabin. The boat is a smooth-sided double-banked boat with a flat transom, the sheer almost flat; it has four thwarts with thwart pins, seats for eight oarsmen, and an open cabin. Some fittings on the model remain unclear.
