About this work
Table model operated with an ivory crank. The mechanism is under a small roof, the arm with the tackle protrudes. The mechanism is unstable. The tackle, of which the blocks are missing, can run in two ways: from the windlass over a sheave through the hole in the baseboard and back to a hook, or over the same sheave to a sheave at the end of the arm and back to a hook.
