About this work
Polychromed, fully planked starboard half-model of a three-masted screw steamship. Eight gunports on the upper deck. The figurehead is a gilded scroll. Elliptical stern with the Dutch coat of arms; rudder with round rudder head (American rudder) and rounded rudder blade; the model has a screw case for a screw light device. Keel nearly flat, one keel timber. V-shaped underwater hull with rounded bilges. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
