Scaffolding Model of a 60 to 68-Gun Ship

Frame model of a ship's hull on a slipway surrounded by wooden scaffolding, on a sloping baseboard. The planking of the model is omitted so that the nine-part frames are visible. As far as can be distinguished, the model has sixty-six gunports distributed over three decks, indicated only by the ports, except for the lower deck, where deck beams are also fitted. Twisted stern with two ports, hollow wulf, no details of quarterdeck or side galleries. Stem rises slightly at both ends, one wale. Flat round frame. Notable is the replacement of the keel by two keelsons.
