Model of a 60-Gun Ship of the Line

Polychromed, hollowed-out block model of the hull of a 60-gun ship of the line with loose round timber. Sixty-four ports are distributed over three decks; the model has four levels: lower deck, middle deck and louse deck, quarterdeck and half-deck, upper deck. On the louse deck two half-towers. The figurehead is a crowned lion, the gilded crane beams have lion masks. Twisted stern, hollow wulf with painted pilasters and two ports, stern with two side galleries running around the side galleries; the side galleries have two stories and shell-shaped roofs. The sternpost is strongly falling. Straight rudder with square rudder head, steering wheel on the half-deck. The model has a double anchor bitt, two windlasses and a pump house for chain pump on the lower deck; the remaining deck equipment is loose and includes, among other things, the galley. The model is equipped with all rigging and jigger blocks. The keel rises at both ends, two pairs of bark timbers and one keel timber.
