About this work

Saber with black wooden hilt with lion's head. The blade is browned with gilded ornaments, on one side inscription: H d H & Z, on the other side: a Amsterdam. With black leather scabbard with Berlin silver mountings. From J.G. van Wageningen, in 1830-1832 major commandant 1st battalion 1st division Mobile Friesche Schutterij.
