Caliber pistol by G.H. van Nouhuis

Caliber pistol, part of a pair, with a damascened octagonal barrel rounded at the end with a small front sight bead. On the barrel, in gold-colored letters, the mark 'TOURRY à LIEGE'. Wooden stock with an inlaid gold-colored oval. Flat iron lock plate with engraved shell and floral motifs. The iron cock is entirely decorated with incised acanthus ornaments. The wooden butt has an incised grip of rocaille work with vertical grooves alongside; the iron butt plate contains an engraved shell surrounded by wavy motifs, and an iron ring hangs from the butt. An iron ramrod is located under the stock.
