About this work

Flintlock pistol with iron barrel. On the barrel an iron sight bead and on the tail a sight notch. The lockplate is of walnut and decorated on the underside with leaf motifs. The flat lockplate is of iron with a curling "B" under the cock and below it an unreadable word. The iron flint has a shell-like shape, on the end of the steel spring a leaf motif, the pan is also of iron. The stock is of walnut with a copper oval on the stock neck, the buttplate is of copper and decorated with the head of a monster. The trigger guard is entirely of copper and ends on both sides with a leaf motif. The trigger is of iron and has a curled end. Under the barrel a wooden ramrod in the ramrod tube, the end of the tube is copper.
