About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: tomb, draped with laurel branches; to the left of the grave stand two weeping orphan children, to the right sits a weeping woman; in front of the grave sits a veiled woman, representing Gratitude, trying to console the mourners within an inscription; inscription on the edge. Reverse: two coats of arms draped with palm and laurel branches under a crown, resting on a cloud; below inscription above a garland.
