About this work
Bronze medal. Obverse: two portrait medallions: in the left medallion a bust of a man with an oak wreath within an inscription; in the right medallion a bust of a man with a laurel wreath within an inscription; between the two medallions stands a winged woman holding a laurel branch above the right, and a wreath above the left medallion; below two cornucopias of plenty, wrapped with a ribbon with an inscription. Reverse: two crowned women, representing Paris and Brussels, sitting on a throne and holding each other's hand within an inscription; lower edge: inscription.
