About this work
Photo album in a leather cover with two lacquer panels. The front panel has a decoration executed in ivory and mother-of-pearl: an eagle sitting on a flowering branch and two birds. The back panel is plain black. The album contains nine cardboard sheets covered with silk. Each page has cutouts for two cabinet photographs. Around these are painted decorations: flowers, birds, flowering trees, sailing boats, and landscapes.
