About this work

Seven persons around Christ and the cross. John and Mary support the body of Christ, which is held by a man standing on a ladder by the right arm. Mary Magdalene kisses the feet of Christ. Under the representation a two-line inscription in Latin (Mark 25). Everything surrounded by a border containing emblems of the Passion, the Fall and the punishments of hell.
