Chart of a part of the northeast coast of England and a part of Scotland, with an inset map of the river Tyne to Newcastle, and with three compass roses, North to the right. A cartouche in the lower right with the title, publisher's address, and scale in German, Spanish, and English or French miles (scale: c. 1:650,000). The title is decorated with a mermaid with a mirror and two sea gods with fish.
