About this work
Ruth is on her way to Judah with her two daughters-in-law. On the way she sends the women back to their parents' home. Orpah departs, but Ruth stays with Naomi. Ruth and Naomi sit on stones on the bank of a river. Orpah stands with her bundle a few meters away from them.
