About this work
In the foreground, the Jewish people fight against the army of the Amalekites. In the background on a hill, Moses, Aaron, and Hur. Moses holds his arms in the air, causing the Jewish army to win the battle. Aaron and Hur help Moses by supporting his arms. The print has a Latin inscription and is the third print in a six-part series on the history of Moses and the Jewish people in the desert after the Exodus.
