About this work

Christ, dressed as a king, is led to his bride (Sponsa) by Faith (Fides), Hope (Spes), Science (Scientia) and Love (Charitas). In the air, an angel flies with a laurel wreath. On the right in the background, the bride waits. In the margin a four-line inscription, in two columns, in Latin.
