About this work
Allegorical memorial for Gerard Johan Nahuys and his wife Catharina Walburg van Mansvelt with personifications of faith, hope and love at the foot of the monument. In front of an obelisk stand the statues of Minerva and Truth with shields with family coats of arms on a base with a dirge. On the obelisk stand the death dates, 6 and 9 October 1781.
