About this work
Two parts of a miniature room screen: left, an island carried by a long-haired turtle (minogame); right, the Chinese fairy Seiôbô with a servant and banana leaves in the background. A bowl with immortal peaches on a small table. The long-haired turtle symbolizes a long life, due to the belief that its seaweed tail would only grow after a life of 10,000 years. With two poems.
