About this work
A garden with two loving couples, a man with a scale, and a musical satyr on the left. In the center stands a grapevine with a radiant crown on a pedestal, accompanied by a cask, jugs, and a thyrsus. Surrounding the scene is an ornate frame with garlands, masks, half-figures, grapevines, rocailles, a goat, and a cat-like creature. In the lower margin, a two-line French and German text.
