About this work
Ornamental letter H with the Assyrian general Holofernes in the center holding a wine cup. On the upper left is a putto. The letter is further decorated with weapon trophies, bunches of fruit, a squirrel, and a bird. On the verso are verses in Latin and German. The print is part of an album.
