About this work
Ornamental letter S of Solomon. The letter is formed at the bottom by leafy tendrils and a female half-figure with wings. In the center above is a winged putto. The letter is further decorated with a butterfly, a parrot, bunches of fruit, and a turtle. On the verso are verses in Latin and German. The print is part of an album.
