About this work
Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it, a medallion with on the front the portrait of Agostino Barbarigo in armor. On the back, two commissions place a boundary stone. Given the coats of arms in the left and right upper corners, these are the boundary stones of Emperor Ferdinand I and Venice. On the left of the pedestal sits the personification of Unity with in her right hand two cornucopias intertwined with each other and in her left hand a fire bowl. The woman on the right has a spear and olive branch in her hands. She is the personification of Peace. The print is part of an album.
