About this work

Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it the front and back of an empty medallion intended for a portrait of a member of the Barbarigo family. On the right of the pedestal the female personification of History. It concerns a winged woman leaning with her foot on a square stone. She writes with a pen in a large book that rests on the shoulders of Saturnus, recognizable by his sickle. The print is part of an album.
